Axiom Alternative (Self-Hosted): PumpStriker vs Axiom

By Bathyr Devs · Published October 24, 2026

Looking for an Axiom Trade alternative? Axiom is a hosted Solana web terminal: you sign up in a browser, it gives you a wallet built on Turnkey's infrastructure, and it takes a fee on every trade, 0.75% to 0.95% net after SOL cashback. PumpStriker is a bot you run on your own machine for $350 once, with no per-trade fee.

Axiom is good at what it does, so that comes first. It is fast, polished and backed by Y Combinator. Its Pulse feed lists new pump.fun pairs with filters for dev holdings, top-10 concentration, snipers, insiders and bundles, and it adds wallet tracking, an X monitor, migration snipes, limit orders and perps through Hyperliquid. If you want to open a tab and trade, that is a real advantage.

The difference is structural, not about quality. Axiom runs on infrastructure that Axiom and its wallet partner operate, and it earns a percentage of your volume. PumpStriker runs on hardware you control, keeps your encrypted key there, and charges once. Below is a side-by-side checked on October 24, 2026, then the trade-offs in plain English.

Hosted terminal vs self-hosted bot

Axiom is a place you go: a fast trading screen in a browser where you find tokens, read the chart and click buy. Discovery is up to you, helped by good filters. That model rewards people who like to watch the screen, and it needs nothing installed.

PumpStriker is a process you run. It is a self-hosted Solana memecoin trading bot: the engine scans new Solana tokens around the clock, throws out the obvious traps, scores the rest, and pings your own Telegram bot only when a token clears your threshold, tagged HOT or COLD by conviction. You can buy with one tap, or opt in to auto-buy with take-profit, stop-loss and trailing-stop orders armed on fill, as the settings guide explains. The cost is that you install it, keep it running and look after the machine it runs on.

Custody: where the key lives

Axiom says its wallets are non-custodial, and its wallet layer is Turnkey, a key-management company whose case study names Axiom as a customer and describes Axiom defining its own signing policies. At signup you are shown a recovery phrase, and Axiom's docs recommend importing it into a standard wallet such as Phantom so you can always reach your funds directly. That is a sensible design. It still means signing happens in infrastructure Turnkey runs for Axiom, under rules Axiom sets, because that is what lets the app trade the instant you click.

PumpStriker never sees your key. It is encrypted on your own disk with AES-256-GCM, the bot signs locally, and nothing leaves your machine except signed transactions and Telegram messages. There is no PumpStriker server holding your key or your trading history. The flip side is that a compromised PC or VPS is your problem to prevent. Our answer on whether PumpStriker can drain your wallet covers what to check, and the trade-off in general is laid out in self-custody vs custodial trading bots.

Axiom fees vs a one-time licence

Axiom's fee page lists a net fee per trade that falls as your volume grows: 0.95% at the Wood tier, 0.90% at Bronze, and so on down to 0.75% at Champion, with the difference paid back to you in SOL. Priority fees and bribes are separate, and Axiom suggests values for both.

PumpStriker costs $350 once and takes nothing per trade. The break-even is simple arithmetic: $350 is the Axiom fee on about $36,800 of trading volume at 0.95%, or about $46,700 at 0.75%. Trade less than that over the life of the tool and Axiom is cheaper; trade more and the licence is. With PumpStriker you still pay Solana network and priority fees, and if you outgrow the free Helius tier, a paid RPC plan is a cost you pay Helius directly (the API-keys guide lists the limits).

Is Axiom Trade safe?

We are not going to call a working product unsafe, and nothing below says Axiom has lost user funds. Here is what is on the record, so you can judge for yourself.

  • Wallet design: non-custodial per Axiom, built on Turnkey, with a recovery phrase you can import into another wallet (Axiom FAQ).
  • February 2026: investigator ZachXBT alleged that some Axiom staff had used internal customer-support tools to look up users' wallets and trade around that information. The coverage did not report stolen funds. Axiom said it had removed access to those tools and was investigating (Decrypt, February 26, 2026).
  • Execution: Axiom offers three MEV protection modes and recommends its Secure mode wherever possible.

The general lesson applies to every hosted tool, not only Axiom: an account on someone else's platform makes their systems, their access controls and their staff part of your risk. A self-hosted bot swaps that for a different risk, your own machine. Pick the one you can actually manage.

Who should pick which

  • Pick Axiom if you want zero setup, you trade by watching charts and feeds, you want perps in the same place, and a fee on each trade is fine at your volume.
  • Pick PumpStriker if you want your key on your own hardware, code you can audit, scored signals pushed to you instead of a screen to watch, and a fixed cost that does not grow with volume. If it will not run on your machine after the onboarding session, the 48-hour refund applies; it does not cover trading outcomes.

Using both

They do different jobs, so running both is reasonable. One sensible split: PumpStriker watches every launch, pings you with scored signals and arms the exits; Axiom is where you open a chart for discretionary trades or perps. Two rules if you do this. Use a separate wallet for each tool, and never paste a key from one into the other. A key that lives in two places has two ways to leak.

Frequently asked questions

Is Axiom Trade safe?

Axiom describes its wallets as non-custodial and built on Turnkey's key-management infrastructure, and it shows you a recovery phrase you can import into Phantom or Solflare. In February 2026, investigator ZachXBT alleged that some Axiom staff misused internal support tools to look up user wallets. Axiom said it removed that access and was investigating, and the coverage did not report any theft of user funds.

Is Axiom custodial?

Axiom markets itself as non-custodial. It is hosted: your wallet's key sits in Turnkey's infrastructure, and Axiom's app requests signatures under policies it configures, which is what makes instant trading possible. PumpStriker is self-hosted instead: the key is encrypted on your own machine and the bot signs locally.

What does Axiom charge?

As of October 24, 2026, Axiom's fee page lists a net trading fee of 0.95% at the entry tier, falling to 0.75% at the top volume tier, after SOL cashback of 0.05% to 0.25%. Network, priority and bribe fees are extra. PumpStriker is $350 once, with no subscription and no per-trade fee.

Can I use Axiom and PumpStriker together?

Yes. One sensible split is to let PumpStriker scan every launch and push scored signals to your Telegram, and to use Axiom for discretionary chart trading or perps. Keep a separate wallet for each tool and never reuse the same private key across them.

Memecoins are extremely high risk, most tokens round-trip, and no tool removes that. Competitor details were checked against the linked sources on October 24, 2026 and can change. This is not financial advice. DYOR.
