PumpStriker Settings: Auto-Buy, HOT/COLD & Sell Tiers

This is the chapter that turns PumpStriker from a notifier into a trader. You'll learn how to flip auto-buy on, set the score threshold that triggers it, and configure the 5 sell-tiers so every buy has TP / SL / Trailing Stop already armed before you even see it.

The two ways PumpStriker can trade

PumpStriker can run in two modes, you pick which (or use both):

🔥 HOT / COLD signals + smarter auto-buy

Every signal card carries a 🔥 HOT or 🧊 COLD conviction tag, and the Signals menu has three auto-buy filters so you can point auto-capital at the higher-conviction calls. It's all execution-only, every signal still lands in your Telegram regardless.

🔥 HOT vs 🧊 COLD, the conviction tag

Tag	Means	Track record
🔥 HOT	Corroborated, the signal has at least one of: a public KOL call, the model agrees, or real liquidity behind it.	Higher base-rate, historically about 2× the 2x-hit-rate of COLD.
🧊 COLD	Cluster-only, a quiet, model-doubted, thin-liquidity signal riding the smart-money cluster alone.	Lower base-rate, but still real, some of the biggest movers start COLD, so they're never hidden, only labelled.

The tag never changes which signals are delivered, it only tells you which to lean into.

🔁 Three auto-buy filters

/menu → 📡 Signals. When auto-buy is active these shape which signals it acts on (the Telegram ping is unaffected):

↻ Re-fire on upgrade

If a token you were already alerted on gets stronger, its tag flips 🧊 → 🔥, or it climbs a tier, the bot re-sends it once, stamped "RE-FIRE, UPGRADED (signal #N)". (Re-fires are strictly capped per token to prevent spam.)

💡 How to use it: leave the Auto-Buy filter on HOT as your default, it points auto-capital at the corroborated pool. Want maximum conviction? Set Buy at signal #2 or Buy only on upgrade so auto-capital waits for a token to prove itself before committing.

⚡ How to turn on auto-buy (3 taps)

1. /menu → 📡 Signals
2. Tap 🔴 Inactive, Toggle ON. Status flips to ✅ Active.
3. Verify your Min Score, Buy Amount, MCap range, Min Liquidity are sane (see recommended configs below).

💡 Pro tip: Toggle Auto-Sell by Score Tier ON in the same menu. Without it, your auto-buys have no exit plan.

How the auto-buy decision actually works

When a signal hits the bot, it runs through these gates in order. First gate that fails → no auto-buy (the signal still arrives in TG with manual Buy buttons):

2. score >= Min Score? → NO → SKIP (score too low)
3. mcap in [Min, Max] range? → NO → SKIP (mcap too low/high)
4. liquidity in range? → NO → SKIP (liq too low/high)
5. Already hold this token? → YES & dupBuy=OFF → SKIP (duplicate)
6. Have a default wallet? → NO → SKIP (no wallet)

8. Auto-Sell tier ON? → YES → Apply matching tier's TP/SL/TSL presets

🎯 The 5 Score Tiers, your sell-side strategy

The bot has 5 default tiers mapped to score ranges. Each tier has its own TP / SL / TSL preset stack. When auto-sell is ON and a buy confirms, the matching tier's orders are armed automatically.

Read it like this: "Fire Signal: at +50% take 35% off the table, at +250% take another 35%, stop-loss at -30% dumps everything, and once price hits +120% from entry the trailing stop arms."

What TP / SL / TSL actually mean

✏️ How to edit a tier (add / remove orders)

Say you want to add an extra TP at +500% to the Moon Shot tier:

1. /menu → 📡 Signals
2. Tap the tier row: 🌙 [S+] 93-100: 4 order(s)
3. You see the tier detail card with current orders and 3 buttons: ➕ Add TP, ➕ Add SL, ➕ Add TSL
4. Tap ➕ Add TP. Bot asks: "Enter trigger % (e.g. 50 for +50%)" → send 500
5. Bot asks: "Sell what % of balance?" → send 25
6. Bot asks: "Order duration (hours)" → send 96
7. ✅ New TP added.

Removing or clearing orders

• Remove one: Tap the ❌ Remove button next to the order
• Clear all: Tap 🗑 Clear All at the bottom (asks for confirm)
• Disable a whole tier: Tap ✅ Enabled, Disable at the top. The tier stays defined but won't apply to auto-sells.

⚙️ Buy Settings (manual-buy defaults)

Controls the manual Buy buttons on signal cards and /buy <CA> <SOL>. Does not affect auto-buy.

💡 Recommendation: Turn Auto-Sell on Manual Buy ON. That way every buy, manual or auto, gets TP/SL/TSL armed instantly. No naked positions.

💡 Turn Anti-MEV ON immediately. It's free, adds zero latency, and prevents sandwich attacks.

🦑 MEV Rebates

KYC'd searchers backrun your tx, you get 50% of the captured MEV paid to a wallet you specify. Mainnet single-tx only. /menu → 🦑 MEV Rebates → set wallet address → toggle ON.

🚨 The Auto-Buy Circuit Breaker (safety)

The bot has a hardcoded safety: if 10+ consecutive auto-buys happen without a single successful sell in 30 minutes, all further auto-buys are automatically rejected until you restart the bot.

Why

This was a real incident: May 7, 2026. Jupiter rate-limited the sell path silently for hours. The engine kept firing buy signals, 85 auto-buys executed, 0 sells completed, and the wallet bled because every sell attempt 429'd. The breaker now stops this cold.

How to recover

1. Open /positions, are positions actually being sold?
2. Check pm2 logs --err, are sells failing with Jupiter 429 or similar?
3. Fix the root cause (often: Jupiter rate limit → enable JUPITER_API_KEY_FALLBACK in .env)
4. Restart the bot: pm2 restart pumpstriker-bot

High frequency, high variance. Don't run this until you've done at least 2 weeks of Conservative and reviewed the data. Min Score 70, Buy Amount 0.1 SOL, Min MCap $5,000, Min Liq $2,000, Slippage 5% (or auto-curve), Degen Mode ON, Anti-MEV ON, Allow Duplicate Buy ON (DCA into runners).

⚠️ Common pitfalls

🔝 The "set it and forget it" checklist

Before you walk away from the bot for 24 hours, confirm:

• Default wallet has at least 0.5 SOL
• /menu → 📡 Signals → Status: ✅ Active
• Auto-Sell by Score Tier: ✅ ON
• Min Score set (75-80 for first runs)
• Min Liq set ($3K+ minimum)
• Anti-MEV ON in Global Settings
• All 5 score tiers show at least 1 SL preset (so nothing buys naked)
• Telegram notifications enabled on your phone
• PM2 set to auto-restart on VPS (pm2 startup ran)
